Obituary of Frederick Issac Bolden Jr.

Mr. Frederick "Bud" Issac Bolden Jr., 78, passed away May 17, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 22, 2023 at Mikado Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Chambless officiating. A committal service will immediately follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Sunday, May 21, 2023 between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that donations be made to Mikado Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 6751 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216.

Frederick was born on January 14, 1945 to the late Frederick Issac Bolden, Sr and Verna Harris. Frederick was the owner of Dixieland Mini Warehouses and worked at Robins Air Force Base for 36 years. He faithfully attended Mikado Baptist Church in Macon. In his free time he thoroughly enjoyed street rods and was a proud member of NSRA, GSRA, and Good Guys Rod and Customs. Frederick will be missed and remembered by many for the loving father and grandpa that he was.

Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Phyllis Bolden; children: Angela Beason (Bubba), Patricia Bolden, Alex Bolden, and Cody Bolden; grandchildren: Christopher Beason (Gracie), Alyson Beason; siblings: Jim Bolden, Sandra Almaroad (Joel), Dorothy Verkler (Jim), Steve Bolden (Mona).
