In memory of my Grandfather. Thank you to all that helped in preparing this memorial and honoring him.Its been hard this last week to except that he is really gone. He gave me some of my very best values as a human being that serves G-d and fellow human beings. He reminded me all through growing up the golden rule, which I have made my household rule above all other rules. He had a true heart to love others, even in their walks in the wrong direction. G-d blessed him with a patient heart. I am grateful for having him as my grandfather. He has been apart of my life from the beginning to the end with so many wonderful memories. My favorite times where trips we took fishing and rock hunting. Those were the days before technology where you could be entertained with outdoor fun.I spent every summer with him and my grandma since I was a baby until my teens where we moved close to them. He believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. He helped me with geometry in high school and I attended him at work in the science laboratory learning chemistry. I was devastated when he moved to Georgia and drove by myself all the way out there to see him. He said that he wasn't ready to retire and if he quits working, it would be the end of his life. I saw that when he built his house in Kentucky and continued building at 89 when he built an apartment over the garage. I only wish he could have stayed a little longer. I will miss him immensely. Thank you Grandpa for being you. See you in Heaven Grandpa!
