Obituary of Frances Faye Wright

Marshallville, Georgia – Frances Faye Wright, 87, went home to be with her personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, August 8, 2022. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Francis will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Marshallville.

Faye was born on August 19, 1934 in Mariana, Florida to the late John Lashley May Branning. Faye was a very devoted Christian who served the Lord her God with all of her soul, heart, mind, and strength. She was a longtime faithful member of First Baptist Church of Marshallville where she had assisted in countless ministries and ministered to the hearts of countless.

She was a lady wo loved the outdoors and could often times be found alongside her beloved husband of the last 66 years, Ernie Wright making countless memories. Throughout the last 66 years, the two had journeyed on countless camping trips in their motor home. Faye also truly loved to be on a body of water along with a fishing pole casted awaiting for a fish to bite. While Faye enjoyed fishing, she truly loved watching the Atlanta Braves and cheer them along. She had kept up with the scores, trades, and contracts within the organization making her the biggest Braves fan within her family.

Faye also truly loved being surrounded by those she loved. She was the epitome of a loving southern lady who had bared the heart to serve others. She enjoyed cooking for her family and sitting around the table sharing stories and countless laughs. She will forever be remembered for her warm and infectious smile that would lighten the heart of others.

In addition to her parents, there awaiting for Faye at the gates of heaven is her beloved son, Quintin Wright.

Left to cherish the beautiful legacy that Faye leaves behind is her beloved husband of the last 66 years, Ernie Wright; Children, Donald Wright (Tina), Ronald Wright (Bunny), Mike Wright, Scooter Wright; Grandchildren, Lee Wright (Shelly), John Wright, Jessica Wright, Justin Wright (Dallas), Preston Layfield, Cameron Wright, Cassie Wright, and Austin Wright; 13 great-grandchildren. Francis is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends.
