Lovely lady I remember from my time attending BBT. Hated to see her name listed on this site! But trusting she is safe and rejoicing in her heavenly home! Deepest sympathy to the family!!
Sincerely, and in His love,
Tora (Jim) Mullen

So I’ve lived next door to Mrs Baggett my whole life. Seriously, I’ve never moved once. That means for 48 years or so every morning I left home and every evening I came back she was there. She was there throughout the 70s often sitting in our kitchen talking with my mom about issues of the times. She was there in the 80s when her kids might come over to watch a braves game or I might shoot a few hoops on her basketball court. In the 90s and beyond she was there to feed my dogs if I was on vacation or pick up my mail. She was just there ....as steady as a rock. So fiercely independent and loyal and decent and kind. Qualities that seem rare these days....especially for just a “neighbor”. She was so much more than just a neighbor or a good friend. For me , I’m realizing now , she was a big part of what HOME means. She was one a kind and the neighborhood will never be the same again. But for me home won’t quite be same again either. So imagine the impact this amazing woman must’ve had on her family and friends and church if she meant that much to me? And I’m just “the guy who lives next door”.
